unfortunately, i only have one desk for my old pc setup. i can either have an optiplex gx240 or am optiplex 720. the gx240 was released in early 2002 and is time appropriate for this website, however the rest of the setup is made around late 2000s early 2010s. the 720 was made around that time. so should i setup a PC that is appropriate with the hardware and prepherials I have or should i setup one thats time appropriate for this website? |

do what makes u happy :D but for me i would do the 2002 one, just because i like 2002 and its cooler to me... windows xp yay! i also just wanted to say how painfully slow this website is over anything related to dialup like my netzero hi speed, and dont get their free stuff its actual shit just pay! |

i didnt even know a free dial-up internet service existed lol. if i had the money i would definitely go all out and buy a whole 2000s setup. dial up modem and everything.
but i do think i am going to keep the 720 there for now just because its convenient for burning discs and it also looks nicer. the old gray optiplex looks bad next to its 2010s peripherals. |
